Featured Puzzle: 2-Grid Jigsaw Sudoku
One of the most iconic romantic moments in fiction is the balcony scene in Romeo and Juliet. When I saw the layout of this 2-grid Sudoku puzzle, I knew I had to use that as the background image. There are more ways to overlap a pair of Sudoku grids, but this one just feels right. Enjoy the solve!
- Normal Sudoku restrictions apply within each of the separate grids.
- Fill each grid with the numbers 1-9 without repeating a digit in any row, column, or bordered region. Note that all but the two overlapping regions are jigsaw-shaped, rather than the usual 3×3.
- Numbers may repeat in a row or column that crosses more than one grid, as long as the duplication is not within the same sudoku grid.
Multi-grid Sudoku puzzles can be solved using normal Sudoku techniques. Learn a few of them with our Solving Guide.

“My bounty is as boundless as the sea,
– William Shakespeare, Romeo and Juliet
My love as deep; the more I give to thee,
The more I have, for both are infinite.”
